How to set a maximum price on SMSPool

Why should I do this?

Prices can change quickly, and while the system shows the lowest available option at any given moment, that rate isn't fixed or guaranteed. Selecting the "Cheapest" option means the system will use the lowest current price, but only if that pool has stock.

If the cheapest option is no longer available, the system automatically moves to the next lowest price. Without a spending cap, you could end up paying more than intended. By setting a maximum price, you ensure orders only go through at a rate that fits your budget. This gives you full control and helps you avoid unexpected costs.

Here are several ways to set your maximum price:

Use the Advanced View on the Order Page to manually select a specific pool. Place an order through the Quick Order page. Set a maximum price limit directly on the Order page or in your account Settings.

Taking these steps means you're not just accepting whatever price is available, you're choosing the one that works best for you.

How to set a maximum price through the Advanced View:

  1. Navigate to the Order Page.
  2. Select the Country and Service you wish to order.
  3. Input the maximum price you would pay by inserting it into the Maximum Price box.
  4. Click the Quick Purchase button.

How do I set a maximum price via the Settings page?

  1. Navigate to the SMSPool Dashboard
  2. Navigate to the Settings page (The cog icon on the top right).
  3. Scroll down to "Modify Max Prices".
  4. Select the "Country" and "Service" you wish to set a Maximum Price for.
  5. Input the Maximum price you would pay for a phone number for that country & service.
  6. Click "Add" and now the maximum price you would pay will be applied and will remain this way until you delete it.
