How to delete your SMSPool Account

Before You Delete

Think twice, as deletion is permanent. Any unused credits or purchase history will be lost forever. There's no option to export your data yet, so if you need records of your activity, note them down manually beforehand.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Login to SMSPool.
2. Click the cog icon on the top right of SMSPool, which will bring you to the Settings page.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page.
4. Type your password into the box where it says "Delete My Account".
5. Click the red "Delete Account" button.
6. A pop up that says "To confirm, please type: DELETE MY ACCOUNT" will show up.
7. Type "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" and click "OK".
8. A green pop up should show saying it will be deleted within 14 days unless you log back in, which will cancel the deletion.

Why Delete Your Account?

SMSPool is awesome (no bias here, promise), but if it's not for you anymore, deleting your account is a good call for data minimisation. No point letting your info hang around unused. It's a straightforward way to boost your privacy. And with data breaches on the rise, cutting down on what sites keep about you is always a good idea.
